The Anton Bauer QR-A200 Gold Mount is a battery mount custom designed to operate with devices using the Sony "wedge" connector. This mount takes Hytron and Dionic batteries for Sony equipment.
The QR-A200 mounts onto Sony editing decks DNW-A25/A220/A225/DS70 portable SX editing machines, and field monitors from Sony and Marshall Electronics.
Additionally, the adapter can also be used to power Sony DSR50 VTR and BVMD9 high definition monitor.

PowerTap
This exclusive Anton/Bauer feature allows a camera mounted light, wireless microphone, or other DC accessory to be powered from the camera battery.
Automatique
- This feature of the Gold Mount is standard with most new camcorders. A special power circuit in the Gold Mount mates with the VTR roll signal in the camera/camcorder allowing an Ultralight-2 to turn on/off automatically in sync with the recorder.
